The Think Tank - is independent, not profit, research organization established with the aim to discuss and within the limits of the possible to promote important for the public life decisions, and also advancing of this or another practice policy in this or another sphere, area of public life.

The transformation of the state TV and Radio into the structure of Public Broadcasting is one of the paramount responsibilities undertaken by the state of Azerbaijan which chose democratic way and to join European values. Moreover, having undertaken in the face of the Council of Europe the commitment about transformation of the structure of state broadcasting into Public Broadcasting, independent from the government, the state of Azerbaijan passed a corresponding political decision.

The actual absence of independent electronic Mass Media in Azerbaijan Republic led to the disappearance of pluralism of opinions in TV and Radio Broadcasting. It has been for several years already that under the farfetched pretexts the official authorities do not provide licenses to all those applying with the proposal to establish independent TV and Radio Companies.

According to prognosis in 2010the internal gas supply should make 10,5 milliard crew’s quarters. The electric energy power closely reached the level of 1989 when the peak of electric energy production, coincided with the peak of the industrial production was observed.

 

In spite of the constitutional guarantees the courts and judges in Azerbaijan are dependent on the executive power.
